Our initiative for the environment
As environmentally orientated business we are a member of Viabono, a collective initiative by the government in cooperation with the tourism, environmental and consumers association, since 2003.
Viabono provides tourism offers with a plus in naturality, quality and enjoyment so you may spend the most beautiful weeks of the year in an intact environment and your holiday becomes a unique experience.

Viabono meets the travelers’ individual needs for relaxation of body and mind in a natural environment – through culinary and cultural diversity, through relaxed wellness, health and healing opportunities, genuine nature adventures or through sensual experiences and sportive activities. This “more” unites with the good feeling of travelling better thanks to the Viabono offers that adhere to binding and clear environmentally orientated requirements.
We have exemplarily met all Viabono criteria.

What do we do?
We abandon all avoidable packaging and disposables, we use recycling paper, are vigilant about heating regulation, have our roofs heat-insulated, take energy-saving measures and environmentally friendly washing seriously, use degradable detergents and have 2 cogeneration units installed. Also, in the future we will pay special attention to an environmentally compatible management!
We will keep you updated on our homepage and of course anytime in our hotel regarding our current efforts towards environmental protection.

We are a 4-stars wellness hotel
In the beautiful Tonbach valley – a suburb of the holiday community Baiersbronn – Hotel Tanne snuggles up to a slope at the end of the valley. From a major part of the rooms and the restaurant “Sonnenstube” the guests may enjoy the view of the valley.
